Fujita Tokuta was born in 1975 and is a potter who started studying Tokoname pottery in 1994. But it was only in the early 2010s that the selection of works he produced widened to include teapots, the signature of Tokoname-yaki pottery. From creating classic mogake motifs on yakishime clay to using more personal glazing techniques, Mr. Tokuta works in a wide variety of styles.
